Week 36

Week 36 Updates:
1. Alex went to the park for the first time and she seemed to enjoy it. If the weather keeps nice, we may have to go more often.
2. She now loves to roll over which makes tummy time a bit difficult.
3. She has tried Pineapple (didn't like it much), Pear/Apple (which she didn't like much also), and she will be trying Cantaloupe soon. I just hope that she likes it more than our other recent attempts.
4. Her screaming has increased this week and I feel like I may be going deaf. I hope that she is satisfied with her voice soon so that she can stop screaming.

Week 35

Week 35 Updates:
1. Although Alex isn't crawling quite yet, she is scooting around with her arms and she is doing soo much better on her tummy.
2. She celebrated her first St. Patrick's Day last Saturday. She had a lot of fun and wore the most green out of everyone!
3. The last couple of days, her nap schedule has completely changed. She went from 3 naps a day to 1. It has been a crazy adjustment and we'll see if it continues.
4. She still loves to talk. She is shouting and screaming a little bit less, but not by much. She also loves to laugh at Gir when he's playing.
5. She turned 8 months old! I can't believe how quickly time has passed!!

Week 33

Week 33 Updates:
1. Alex has started doing this funny head tilting from side to side. I'm not sure why she does it, but it makes me laugh!
2.  She is doing much better at being on her stomach although its still not a favorite activity of hers.
3. She is starting to enjoy scooting to the corner of her crib whenever I put her down for a nap she immediately shoots over to the corner. I usually have to pull her away from the corner several times before she will go to sleep.
4. She is doing pretty well with the organic baby food that we've been making for her. She's had Banana, Avocado, Apples, and Avocado/Banana mix.
5. She loves feeding Gir her puffs and Gir will sit and wait for her to feed him. Gir is going to be in puppy heaven!

Week 32

Week 32 Updates:
1. Alex is so curious and loves looking at new things. She will sit and study it with the cutest look of concentration on her face. In the picture, she is discovering a tape measure.
2. She loves to stick her tongue out and make a "th" noise. When Mommy or Daddy copies her, she just starts laughing! So cute!!
3. She is getting better at tummy time and can stay on her stomach longer than she has in the past. She can scoot in circles but does not go in any particular direction.
4. She is now eating baby food twice a day with no problems and has even tried to gum baby cookies.
5. She loves watching Mommy and Gir play with Gir's ball. Alex will just laugh hysterically whenever Gir tries to jump up and get it. I love it when she laughs so hard!
6. She loves kicking her feet on the floor and banging her hand on objects, i'm not sure if she's working on her depth perception or what, but it's pretty cute!
